Any issues or concerns requiring the attention of the full Board would be sent to the Community Manager to place on the agenda of the next Board meeting. No reply will occur outside of official business at the Board meeting.
OABS Board Members
John Dinkel, President
John is a retired financial planner with 25 years in new home development, property management, and real estate sales and marketing. John has served as President of the BMAC, Casitas (4 years) and on the board of an HOA in Greenville, SC.
John has a BA from Fresno State, and is an avid golf and tennis player and has been a Casitas resident full time for 11 years. John is also currently serving on the Boulders Casitas Board.
Juls Brown, Vice President
Juls Brown graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in pharmacy and started her career as a retail pharmacist. Because she had a knack for technology, she was selected by Target to become a Process Owner for pharmacy technology (otherwise known as the head of a job that no one wants). Eventually, she became an industry consultant for pharmacy software until it became clear that she was at risk of becoming a software geek (Unix anyone?).
Since she suspected she really should have gone into construction and architecture, she made a radical turn and took an assignment to remodel/improve the buildings and technology of a Napa winery. Apparently, her piece of the puzzle went fairly well although she found remodeling a commercial facility to be slightly more challenging than her many residential remodels. (Anyone ever put a glycol tank in their kitchen?)
In 2015, she retired with her spouse in the Boulders to pursue golf, crazy fast pickleball and woodworking. Because she’s been a grateful homeowner in the Boulders since 2002 and a golf member since 2005, she values the beautiful place we call home and would like to preserve that opportunity for others.
Phil Fishbach, Treasurer
Phil and his wife Marcia and have lived at the Boulders since 2002, while also living in Rochester NY. They've been married for 52 years and have a son and 2 grandchildren who live in Scottsdale as well as a daughter and 3 grandchildren living in Rochester.
He's a graduate of the University of Rochester and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School. His business career encompassed 35 years with the Xerox Corporation the last five of which were as Corporate Controller. The last 18 years have been spent serving on the Board of the Hillside Children’s Center (with 2 years as Chairman of the Board) which serves about 12,000 disadvantaged children.
Marcia and Phil have cherished their time here at the Boulders where they are active in hiking, biking, tennis and golf. Most importantly the Boulders has given them the opportunity to make many lifelong friendships.
His service on the OASB Board allows him to help ensure that the Boulders continues to be a place where we can all be proud to live.
Jeanne Giaccone, Secretary
Jeanne is a resident of Huntington, New York with homes in two different homeowner associations. As such, she's familiar with the covenants, conditions and restrictions as laid out in each of those two agreements.
She currently serves on the Membership Committee at the Huntington Country Club. Additionally, she's a principal of an Insurance Brokerage firm located in Huntington, NY. She moved to The Boulders in January 2017 after vacationing here for fifteen years. Initially, she owned a property located in the Pueblo en las Rocas Owners Association. Currently, she lives on El Sendero.
Jeanne believe in participating in the community where one lives and is honored to serve on the OABS Board.
Lynn Lobas, Director
Lynn and her husband, Matt, joined the Boulders four years ago and loved it so much that they decided to build a home within the gates. They moved full-time to the Boulders in May of 2018. She's currently a member of the BWGA and the Divine 9s where she's served as Treasurer for the past two years.
Before moving to Arizona they resided in Blackhawk, CA. While living in Blackhawk, Lynn served on several committees within the community. She also served on the Board of Directors for Hospice of the East Bay.
Prior to moving to California, she lived in New Jersey where she was Executive Director of the New Jersey Chapter of Community Associations Institute for 21 years. CAI is a national organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of community association living through education, legislative advocacy and professional development. During her time with the organization, she served on numerous national committees.
Lyn has always felt that giving back to her community is extremely important. Her background in community associations will aid her in being a contributing board member.
Tim Lindemann, Director
Tim Lindemann retired in 2018 as an operations executive after a 27-year career in the airline industry. He is currently serving a second, 3-year term on the Board of Directors for the American Airline Credit Union as Vice-Chair.
Tim is also a recent member of the finance committee on the Board of Directors of Habitat Humanity in Cape Cod and an executive coach in the full-time MBA program at Arizona State University (3rd year). He is a founding partner of Cactus Consulting Group.
Tim is a golfer and cyclist and spends half of the year in Cape Cod, MA. Tim and his wife, Aline, have three children who currently reside out of state.
